Tragedy unfolded at Nelson Depot a century ago
Above, The Nelson Depot (no longer standing). Wander into the Bethesda Church cemetery at Nelson, and you will find it: a statue of a winged angel standing in benediction over a single grave. Not of local stone, the angel (it is said) was carved in Italy from Carrara marble and imported.

Prosecutors want limits on McNamee questioning
WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal prosecutors asked a judge Tuesday to limit what baseball star Roger Clemens’ attorneys can say in his upcoming steroids trial about a sexual assault investigation involving his chief accuser that the government lawyers said could “inflame the jury.”
